Experience the most popular snorkeling destination in Marathon, the famous Sombrero Reef. The huge tongue & spur reef, about four nautical miles away, features amazing mature coral and abundant tropical SEA LIFE! The iconic lighthouse offers an amazing Florida Keys photo opportunity.
After snorkeling the reef, the excursion will transit inshore to the shallows of the Molasses Key sandbar where passengers can explore, relax, or choose to snorkel again.
When SEA STATE does not permit passage to the outer reef, we will transition to a Sandbar trip for a shallow water snorkeling & swimming.
